In 2022, our founders—a collective of AI researchers and hardware engineers from top tier defense and consumer tech backgrounds—recognized a massive gap in the safety market. Existing "smart" devices were merely passive observers. Cameras recorded incidents, and sensors beeped when thresholds were crossed, but none possessed the intelligence to understand context or predict a hazardous outcome *before* it happened.

We began with the most vulnerable: infants in vehicles. The SafeNest Car Seat Guardian was our proof of concept—a system that didn't just measure temperature, but utilized thermal imaging and biometric algorithms to understand the specific risk to the child, communicating instantly with caregivers and emergency services.
